Though there is no news about the launch of Aakash II, its makers DataWind is busy promoting UbiSlat 7+ which is the commercial variant of Aakash II.

The official website of DataWind gives an update of UbiSlat 7+ tablet and its specifications with the company’s President & CEO Suneet Singh Tuli thanking all those who have pre-booked the tablet.

The UbiSlat 7+ is priced at Rs 2,999 and the 7C model at Rs 3,999 with optional internet at Rs 98 per month. The official website says that the pre-bookings for May and June are closed and open for July.

Tuli says that they are only two weeks behind schedule for the delivery of the first pre-booked batch and all further supplies would adhere to the 6-week delivery schedule.
